Seems the Labour Party is imploding

Mass resignations from the Shadow Cabinet but it doesn't look like Jezza is going to do the honourable thing and step aside ATM. 
It's also rumoured he voted to leave the EU...

I'd be surprised if he weather's this one out.

He's toast, but sadly too out of touch with reality to realise it.

Leadership contest likely now. Be Very interesting to see who makes the ballot.

This is basically a coup. I'm not a happy bunny.

As Boris and the other traitors are demonstrating, nothing is what it seems in politics.

The bottom line is that Corbyn is too ugly to win a general election and the rebels are using the referendum as an excuse to try to get rid. Not seeing any stellar leadership candidates in the wings though.

I like Corbyn and he's been hamstrung throughout by a biased press and disloyal mp's. But he's never going to get the support he needs to get into power, so we need to change now. The Tories damage has gone too far they can't be allowed to continue.

Which way do we go as a party though, left or right?

One of Corbyn's perceived negatives was his history as a socialist (because Socialism's a dirty word now), so can we expect a return to all that Blairite rubbish in the form of New New Labour?

If the Labour Party wants to pick up all those disaffected Kippers who voted Leave after they bought The Big Lie, the danger is the entire party's going to chase votes and shift to the right.

So we'll have Labour in the middle, what's left of the Tories way out on the right and the Lib Dems wandering round wondering what's going on.

And nobody on the left of British (English?) politics.

We'll get what we always get.

We are living in the time of the cult of personality so I don't think the actual politics matter any more. Just need to pick a good-looking family person that likes England and puppies and pack them off to media school.
The script-writers will work up a manifesto that lists everything that people want and after Labour sweep to power - just do what the toerags have done - spend money wherever you want to and run up the national debt to pay for it.

how much longer is Corbyn going to delude himself thinking he can carry on? 40+ members of his cabinet have resigned but he thinks it's ok because the dog on a string brigade and the socialist worker readers (all 3 of them) think he's great

I must say though,that,this coup,because that's what is being attempted here,does the Labour MP's in Westminster no favours.
The party membership gave Corbyn a clear mandate,and it's for us to decide who'll lead the Party,not them.
If he does give in to an election,I want him on the ballot.
