DO YOU LIKE TATTOOS

i'm interested in tattoos. not so much what they represent, more the fantastic artwork that is behind some of them.

i'm seriously considering getting a tattoo, a snake design at the small of my back. no would see it other than very "close friends".

do you have a tattoo or do you hate them?

I'll pay extra for a hooker with tats. Best one I ever saw was a fanny tatoo - awesome.

Jayne, why have you placed the phrase close friends "in inverted commas"? Do you mean people you're going to shag?

I used to watch LA Ink on discovery - mainly because an ex of mine did feature in it as a customer once. But it did get me hooked on tats - although not got one myself. If I was to have a tat it would have to be the Bolton crest from 1958.

I appreciate the art, and I often find myself watching those LA/Miami/London Ink shows, but I wouldn't get one myself. They might look great now, but in 15-20 years they'll look stupid. And you don't want your granny to have tatoos do you!

Nope it wasn't!

The person I was with at time, was on the last series of LA Ink, before Kat Von D pulled the plug on the show.

Call me old fashioned but I'm not keen on them. I can understand the old sailors who had anchor tattoos on their forearms but this modern day trend of tattooing ones body to look like a walking kaleidoscope is bloody stupid.

I think women who have tattoos on their arms are daft as well.

I don't like the idea of tattoos. A permanent alteration to one's body such as tattoos and piercings are unwise in my opinion because when you get older, your views on some things may change but cannot be undone.

Totally agree on that. Only place, for me, would have to be on the upper arm - covered by shirt or t-shirt.

What's a fanny tattoo? How in the hell does that work?
