The FBI has decided that Hillary is not guilty- so it looks like the Donald has blown it. She's back to a 5 point lead this morning.
Clinton and May -leading the free world.
Lets see if they make a better job of it than the male half of the planets population have done.

The scary thing is that this is an election for the most powerful job in the world and these are the 2 best options available, nobody is voting for who they think is the best option as is depicted by the fact that many of their own parties aren't even supporting their own candidates because of mistrust (you have to assume they have much more knowledge of the reality than we do).
People are voting on who they hope will do the least damage and that is the scary part, in answer to breads point yes it is a truly scary thought Trump being president but for many it's equally scary Clinton being in charge, there isn't a right or wrong there is only a wrong and less wrong.
Glos made a point of the fact that Trump stands up to be counted but I disagree with that to an extent, his whole business seems to be built on smoke and mirrors and nobody knows what he's worth, I posted a couple of links to articles which looked into his business dealings and a lot of it makes far from impressive reading, they show a history of poor decisions followed by blaming everyone else and Daddy or Daddy's friends bailing him out.
Clinton is clearly his intellectual superior but a huge amount of that intellect has clearly been directed to looking after her own interests and clearly not being particularly trustworthy.
Referring back to the movie Brewster's Millions from years ago this is clearly an election where a vote for "none of the above" would win resoundingly.

The bookies are offering 8-1 on a Trump victory and the best you can get on Hilary is 1-4 on. I can see Archie having a dabble at those odds!

I had 20 quid on Hilary to win with more than 52% at 9/1.Reebok Trotter wrote:The bookies are offering 8-1 on a Trump victory and the best you can get on Hilary is 1-4 on. I can see Archie having a dabble at those odds!
There are 5 people in the betting Clinton, Trump and 3 other people.

Does anybody know what Mike Pence looks like?
It just struck me driving home that I don't think I've ever seen him.
Is he real?

I'll be up at 5 anyway for work and that's early enough for me.

Be an interesting first year for whoever gets in. They'll be spending most of the time ducking and diving and I really can't see the heads of military services letting Hilary know too much in case it gets put on her unsecured server, despite the fact she'll be C-in-C. Now Don would be a bloody good laugh as long as they gave him a dodgy copy of the nuclear trigger codes.

Fox News are very much on the ball.

And yet Trump supporters claim the media is biased against them.

I have moved a telly into my bedroom specifically so I can watch it between dozes. I was going to say too close to call, but I don't entirely mean that..I mean I can make an argument for any result, including a much larger margin than currently predicted especially if the early info on turnout proves correct. I can't see many Hispanic people or a lot of women voting for Trump...what it less predictable is if they will support Hillary or if they will simply not vote. And I also agree that the divisions caused, or rather highlighted and exacerbated by, this election will not be easily healed whatever the resultboltonbonce wrote:Anyone planning a late night to see how it unfolds?

Apparently, as of early this morning, the Hispanic vote is up, but the African American/Black vote, (which got Obama in), is down.
Many voted last week, before the FBI changed its mind and said she hadn't committed a crime, so those might skew things slightly.

Sky News have access to the exit polls but other than that it'll be hours of pure speculation until the actual results start to come in around 6 a.m. tomorrow.boltonbonce wrote:Anyone planning a late night to see how it unfolds?

This is incredibly close. By the time you read this, it may well be over, but at this time, looks like swinging to Trump though most states 'too close to call'
