That I agree with CD, where I disagree with you is the opportunities to prove you are good enough aren't the same. The competition to do Fifa badges isn't particularly high, though the actual course is very demanding, its largely book yourself on, get a club to recommend you where necessary and you are on, and is a requirement at various levels of the managing football teams. It requires however a lot of time, weekends and quite a few week long residential courses, and is very very costly. How many great managers do we miss out on because they aren't personally wealthy enough to do the course, can't get the time off work to do it? That applies to all irrespective of race, but it is still the sad fact that certain ethnicities within Britain are way more likely to be in relative poverty. Obviously black players who have made it in the premier league would have the money, but the career path there seems to be going into the media, managers tend to prove themselves in lower leagues, and in all three conference leagues as an example, there is one black manager for 68 teams, and I would estimate on average 3-4 black players per team.Copper Dragon wrote:

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink doesn't seem to have a problem getting jobs.
He was interviewed on Managers Question Time on 5 Live yesterday and he refused to be drawn into answering (because he said that he personally couldn't) a question whether black or ethnic minorities are being overlooked for jobs.
He said that he hated the words black and ethnic being associated with this subject even though he said he was proud to be black.
Jimmy didn't sound like a man who would be running behind the veil of the 'r' word if things don't go well.
I hope that his side gets stuffed tomorrow though.

He's (the owner) been effected by the likes of you.
Anally retentive PC types trying to make others feel uncomfortable, whilst doing absolutely nothing for cohesion.
Is a 'minority' of Port Vale fans different to a 'minority' (which we know is a load of bollocks) of Muslims?
Only white English people are racist.

Yeyeyeye anybody who disagrees with you is just being PC, there's no such problem in the world it's just another left wing conspiracy dreamt up to make old white people feel uncomfortable.

Nobody's said only white people are racist, if you're having to invent things to create an argument for yourself you must be struggling.
Seems to be a common point which small minded people like to make though. Clearly you feel persecuted for your views. What a shame.

We would give you a job but we don't think it will go down well that you are black.

That's just stupidity by the anally retentive PC employers, rather than a widespread racism issue.
We have a defender called Tendayi Darikwa, and in his first game for us this season the chap on the tannoy sounded like he said 'Tendayi Derek', which got a laugh.
Some Burnley supporters have now nicknamed him as Derek, as supporters and English people in general like to nickname people.
Well now some of the anally retentive PC types don't like it because they (people using the nickname) are Anglo Saxonising an African name.
The utter twats are forgetting that Tendayi Darikwa is as English as the rest of us.
What a bunch of pathetic turd hopping wasters.

Bit weird that you're this upset you can't call a man Derek.
Out of interest, you point the finger at the PC brigade. How do you know it hasn't come from the player himself?

I don't call him Derek. It's Ten or Del Boy for me.
It hasn't come from the player because he's not a brain dead and is a good lad, who is pretty comfortable with who he is.
