Like most have deduced from the start, who in their right mind would buy a club that it is impossible to make a profit on.

We're not fashionable to attract a person with enough money to make the above point moot, so frankly a takeover of any magnitude will never happen.

There won't be a deal until we're in admin. Why would anyone pay full price for us when they won't have to in a couple of months? If we were at the top of the table challenging for Premiership football and its pot of gold it might be different but as things stand we're in League One next season anyway so why not wait until the club's available for next to nothing and the debts are mostly written off? If I was a businessman I wouldn't touch BWFC with a barge pole as it stands but taking it out of admin, maybe seeing the debts reduced by 90 or 95 percent and then rebuilding from the ground up could well be a viable investment proposition for a clever person or group of people.

even winning the quadruple rollover this eve (est £14m) outright is nowhere near enough to take the club on. I agree with Hipster that we are a club we can't make a profit on without tearing up current model and starting again. The future is bleak.

Well at least there's a bright side to our woes right there.

It's the Euro millions you have to win. Even then, you have to have a business background and a business plan that stands a chance of reducing costs of £1 million a month.

Difficult balancing act between not paying them for another month - so they can go on a free and paying them so we cash in on Vela and Clough

I think Manda's more than covered in the "having a business background" stakes, mate.

A week ago it was all about "when" the deal will be done. After all the local and national press were talking about Amir and Deano and Stelios and Eddie paving the way so obviously it was going to happen. Having deconstructed the media guff, asked all the awkward questions and got some of the answers it now all looks fairly straightforward: either Trevor's little ruse will work and one of the investors will commit shortly or we hit the wall bigtime.
Administration would be a clean start but we'd have nothing as the baby is evicted with the bathwater.
A takeover would be better if it's the right person so that's the straw I'm clinging to for now.

When he finally went proper full-on bat-shit crazy and sacked the manager at Carlisle and took on the role himself his win rate was just shy of 30%.

Lennon's with us is 24%.

Just sayin'......

That attempt at ball juggling at Old Trafford was right up there in the cringe stakes with Brownie's on pitch team talk.

Agreed.

But surely nothing beats your Lady Chair getting pissed up at half time, grabbing a microphone and berating the fans for their lack of enthusiasm from a prominent position in the middle of the pitch in front of the TV cameras.

What were you thinking Manda.....?

I've seen Delia up close twice at Norwich matches and on both occasions she looked battered before kick off.

I loved Delia for that. If you ever wanted proof that the boardroom cared about the club that was it right there. God I wish we'd had a board with a tenth of her passion and a tenth of her brains. She's done a brilliant job for Norwich just by being there.

Fair play.

I don't think I was sober once at Burnden Park between 1987 and about 1995.

What a gal!

Iles is saying that there "at least four interested parties" involved now.

Holdsworth, Stavros and The Mystery Arabs possibly, but who's the fourth?

Come on....own up!

Who's been talking to Eddie?

Magoo ! I'm looking at you........

And Trevor Birch says no one has met the criteria. These people need to find 2 or 3 billion pounds in the next week... shouldn't be too hard for Deano, cos, you know, money makes money.
