Oy!! Actually its weird, when you start a thread, you do kinda worry about how its going to turn out. I think we have quite enough to worry about with the state of the club, and my worries were confined to that, how naive was I. And now I'm off to cook for the girlies. Two ruddy veggies coming tonight so I'm making a 3-layer fillo roulade of field mushrooms in white wine, garlic, tarragon and cream  (1) creamed spinach and nutmeg (2) grated gruyere (3) all rolled up and baked in the oven until the fillo is golden and crispy.

I wouldn't call Thailand the "Far" East - it's more somewhere between Middle East and Far East i.e. China and Japan but I guess that's debatable.

I did surmise that Trevor Birch might be smart enough to recontact previous bidders with the news that ED had agreed to write off the loan - which would therefore make us a far better proposition - but that was considered a foolish idea by some on here, however that idea would tally with the Thais being involved.

But I still haven't heard anything definitive confirming it's the same people as before.

Rumour I heard was the Thai's pulled out because Gartside wanted to stay as chairman
