Very kind of you Manda. We're hoping to get her home on Thursday, where she can recuperate in peace.Chairmanda wrote:Just catching up, hope your Mum is continuing to recuperate, x
The hospital has done a great job, but she hates the food, and has found it difficult to sleep, due mainly to a lot of nocturnal activity on the ward.
I'm sure she'll be happier at home.
Could I also, once again, thank everyone on here(and no longer on here. They know who they are) who's taken the trouble to pass on their good wishes. They're much appreciated.

It's the first time I have listened to that.
And what were you doing up at 5 minutes to 4 this morning? Did you wet the bed?

No KP, just woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep, so it was off to youtube. Good news is, Mum's coming out of hospital today.
As for the interview, I know a few people it's new to. Sad to listen to though.

Well that's good news Boncey and quite a quick turnaround considering her age and what not.

I'm pleased that she's well enough to come home.

Good news indeed - just as long as you aren't going to be her carer!
Only joking, I/we are all pleased for you both.

Thanks all. As I'm the one family member in retirement, I may have to up my game a bit. We'll see how it goes. Just glad she's on the mend.
And, once again, many thanks to the Nutters who have taken the time to pass on their good wishes.
Huge thanks also to the NHS staff, who do an incredible job. Seeing them at work first hand, sometimes stretched to the limit, is a humbling experience.

Quite right. Don't know what this eyebrow thing is all about. Mine are above my eyes, and, unless they start migrating elsewhere, it's a situation I'm perfectly happy with.
Some women shave them off, then draw them on again with a pencil!
How can anyone be expected to deal reasonably with a person like that?

Yes! I knew you would get it!
I’m watching Die Hard for probably the 100th time.
It’s on E4+1.
