In this case it might be a wise decision. I was made aware of the Emmett Till case when I was fourteen. I've never forgotten it.Natasha Whittam wrote:I have a rule. Never click on a link provided by Bonce or KP.

The Emmett Till case was surely the inspiration for the classic, international best-selling novel: To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee. So many similarities. I suspect they each had a major influence on racism in the USA and beyond.

Read "The Withered Arm", by Thomas Hardy, showing how folk flocked to see lynchings and took picnics for a family day out. Hardy also reveals how people believed fully in the supernatural.
Great short story. I think there's a video of the story too.
You'd think society must have become more civilised by now, but sometimes I'm not so sure.....

Watched the excellent film "Apostasy" which brilliantly exposes all the selfish arrogance, cruelty and inhumanity involved in being a JW.....but the film also showed how to get rid of them if they get a foot in the door:- simply tell them that you used to be a JW but that you were expelled.
None is then allowed to have anything to do with you.....

I’m currently sat on the sofa in a pair of shorts with no top on watching TV.
I think I need to turn the heating down.
I nearly started putting some sun cream on it’s that warm!

That’s weird as my curtains are currently open.
I hope you haven’t been spying on me.

Think Sherlock Holmes with a bad haircut.
My zip up slippers set off the ensemble perfectly. I'm off to bed shortly, if I can find a candle.
