I'll ask the brains here to see if they can find out but i think that people with any allergies aren't allowed to have it at the moment as far as i'm aware?wanderlust wrote:I have a question - maybe Norpig is my best hope of getting an answer - but one of my sons has a serious egg allergy - and most vaccines use egg white as a carrier medium (take note vegans!), so does anybody know or can find out (no pressure amigo:)) if the covid vaccines are available in an egg-free format?
Definitely a pint in it.

On Wednesday Starmer reminded the PM about the scientific data and questioned the wisdom of the 5 day Christmas.
Today Bozo cancelled it and doubled down on restrictions.
They said it will all end in Tiers.
I just wish Johnson would listen to the advice and act on it instead of making policy first and then having to change it. No wonder many people are confused and upset.

This is starting to take on an even greater significance now that there is a mutation that transmits more rapidly in the UK, a mutation that attacks antibody production and today it's been announced that a new mutation in South Africa that spreads quickly and makes young people ill.wanderlust wrote:Here's a great article about Covid mutation.
Discusses identified Covid mutations to date, similarities with the original, speculates on future mutations, explains how mutations affect vaccine development, how long immunity is likely to last etc.
Sort of reassuring but there are a lot of variables in there
And this new study is even more alarming.
Another influx of Londoners is going to put Norfolk into Tier3 the way it's going. There's a village on the coast where three quarters of the houses are "second homes" and they've been arriving in droves.

A big thank you to the wankers who thought it would be a good idea to escape Tier 4 in London and come to Norfolk for Christmas. Hancock has just announced that we'll be in Tier 4 from Boxing Day.

Johnson getting ready to toughen up the rules and lockdown again, but not before allowing thousands to mix at schools all over again. They haven’t learned a thing from the last two lockdowns and are dithering again. It’s inexcusable now.

Teachers and school support staff are almost as much in the firing line as NHS workers.....but without PPE! Should be priorities for the vaccines.

Boris will speak to the nation tonight at 8pm.
I think wee Nicola has beaten him to it.
