I've just bought a boomerang on amazon. I'm not sure it's a good move.

I should have mentioned my other bears, Mr Beesley, Edgar, and Arnold, all of whom are fine bears in their own right.
They are, however, not universally popular.
Most used phrases down here are, in no particular order:

How old are you?
Are you retarded?
Why don't you hire a skip.
Don't bring my mother into it.
You paid how much!?
How many watches does one man need?
You will buy a ventriloquist's dummy over my dead body.

It's the last one that kills me. I've always wanted one. I've not given up.

DHL have had the two Wanderers shirts I ordered since Friday, and so far they've yet to arrived.
They texted me on Monday, saying they'd arrive on Wednesday, but they didn't show up.
I've had trouble with them before, and they're fast becoming the new Hermes.

Still no sign of the two Wanderers shirts I ordered. DHL are now saying they were last scanned in Middleton, and have asked for a description of the contents so they can do a manual search.
Having looked at a DHL review page, I'm not filled with hope.

....whereas we have now had 5 emails claiming that a parcel is waiting to be delivered here.
All we have to do is provide our details and sign up "to prevent any future problems"!
We haven't ordered anything!!  Do you think it's scam? Sad Smile

An update. Got an email from DHL this morning asking me to call customer services on a given number. Filled with hope, I called the number, and got through to what was clearly an Indian call centre. Here's how it panned out.

Me.   I've been asked to call this number regarding a missing parcel.

CC.   Are you a customer?

Me.   Yes.

CC. We don't speak to customers directly.

And there you have it. So the saga of the missing Wanderers shirts goes on.

It's the stores problem Bonce. Give the BWFC shop a ring when they are next open and tell them you want a replacement order as the parcel is missing.

I'll get Bank Holiday Monday over and sort it out from there. The lad will be getting his birthday present late but he's ok with it.

A fickle horse in the past, but has now picked up three wins from his last five runs under claiming jockey Oliver Stammers.

Fingers crossed.

I took the 5/1 on offer.  It's all a bit of fun.
