I suspect he gets his information from GB News mainly I suspect because he's bought into the right wing propaganda that the Main Stream Media is not to be believed but he swallows all the extremist propaganda shit that is churned out on there because that is wants to believe and he's too stupid to fact check things for himself - take this gem for instance - where do you think he heard it and regurgitated it on here...?

Whitesince63 wrote:Mind you this Labour government and Reeves in particular are on a different planet so maybe that explains the “black hole” vision. You can already see that the markets and real experts agree with me when I say how completely naive and catastrophic this budget was. You like to criticise Liz Truss but this will be far more damaging believe me.

You and the other myopics and refusers on here can try to deny it but you know in yourselves how damaging this one budget will be.

Compare that with the actual TRUTH...

However, it is important to put the latest market movements in context.

Since Wednesday the effective interest rate on government borrowing has gone up by just under a quarter of a percentage point and the pound had gone down by less than a percentage point.

The moves are about a tenth of the size of those seen after the mini-Budget, which was delivered by Kwasi Kwarteng while Liz Truss was prime minister.

For example, the pound fell 0.8% against the dollar, to a two-month low, but by lunchtime on Friday had settled to about 0.5% lower.

By comparison, in the aftermath of the mini-Budget the pound fell 8% against the dollar - to an all-time low.

There has also been a wider rise in borrowing costs over the past month, but that has been a global movement, led by the US.

And as for this...

Ignorance is clearly bliss for you - because that's what you are, ignorant of the facts and stupid to believe all the lies.

No substance pig? No substance in Reeves claims of a £22b black hole confirmed by the OBR much as Sluffy tries to convince otherwise. Devastating IHT raid which will virtually wipe out the small farming community. Taxes on working people which Reeves has now admitted, confidence shattered in the stock market as they know her targets for the tax take can never be hit so extra borrowing guaranteed and the additional costs on employers impossible in many cases to pass on forcing many businesses to close. Social care in serious trouble as the confessions made to the NHS on tax not passed on to private care firms and GP’s.

I could go on but it’s pointless because if you haven’t accepted by now what a disaster this lot are then I fear for you. It’s ok making cheap remarks like Sluffy does about social media or yours on the Mail, which I don’t read by the way but it’s all because you just don’t want to accept that Reeves has fu—-d up and will have to either do an about turn or carry on and face the consequences. Either way this government is totally incompetent and will trash the economy and the country generally.

Nonpig, don't waste your breath on him, the man is an utter loon.

He reminds me of one of those brainwashed moron's in a religious sect, chanting shit and doing whatever their guru tells them to.

He's not got an utter clue about what he says - he's just a parrot, repeating things he'd heard and hasn't got the foggiest about how true they are - take for instance this bit...

Devastating raid...
Will wipe out the small farming community...

Horrifying if it is true - but is it?

Well these are the figures the governments calculated for tax yield following the implementation of the budget...

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/agricultural-property-relief-and-business-property-relief-reforms/summary-of-reforms-to-agricultural-property-relief-and-business-property-relief

To put it in simple terms -

There are about 209,000 farm holdings in the UK.

Dan Neidle, an independent tax expert, says the real number of farms, external likely to be affected could be below 500 per year.

There were a total of 462 inherited farms valued above £1m in 2021-22, according to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), external:

345 valued between £1m and £2.5m

80 at £2.5m to £5m

37 above £5m

Under the new rules, those 462 farms would be affected by the 20% inheritance tax on any value above £1m (not on the whole value).

However, as Mr Neidle points out, like for the rest of the population, there is no inheritance tax to be paid on the value of property up to £325,000, bringing the untaxed total to £1.325m.

If a farmer is married, his or her spouse would be able to pass on another £1.325m tax free, taking the total untaxed amount to £2.65m.

Steve Reed, the secretary of state for the environment, food and rural affairs, confirmed the "vast majority" of farmers will not be affected by changes. Writing in the Telegraph, external, he said "only the richest estates will be asked to pay".

So 209,000 farms, only about 500 will fall within the new tax regulations per year and even then, only the richest estates will be effected.

So it really isn't a 'devastating raid' that will 'wipe out the 'small' farming community' at all - is it?

In fact it will effect very few apart from the richest land owners - and what do you imagine the politics of these rich land owners is - could it be Tory by any chance?

The tax is aimed at the very richest lords of the manors of this country and not the likes of the Dingles of Emmerdale.

Its just the same with the Inheritance Tax for us non-farmers, the people it is aimed for is those in their mansions and not the likes of us in our two up and two down, or even those of us in our semis and detaches

The vast majority of us won't be bothered with Inheritance Tax and neither will the vast numbers of farmers with the new budget tax rise.

And those who are will be are rich enough to pay for a smart accountant to find a loop hole to avoid paying it anyway!

Point being the big fuss that is being made bares absolutely no comparison to how many will actual end up having to pay the tax.

Just you see how this will rumble on and on though, with the likes of W63 chanting his right wing masters propaganda because he's not smart enough to check the facts out for himself.

How many farms will be affected by Budget tax rises?

Thought I'd throw this in to from an article I've read today...

Remember this above from W63

Whitesince63 wrote:Devastating IHT raid which will virtually wipe out the small farming community.

..and the facts debunking it, well this was the reason for the tax change...

Reeves said a farm owned by two people could pass on "£3m essentially tax-free" and there would be 10 years to pay any tax owed.

She added that "only a very small number of agricultural properties will be affected, but last year the benefits of agricultural property relief, 40% of the benefit was felt by 7% of the wealthiest land owners".

"I don't think it is affordable to carry on with a relief like that when our public finances are under so much pressure."
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cq6l708vve7o

Or in simple words £4 in every £10 that was previously given out in tax relief given out to the whole farming system was being given to just the top 7% of the wealthiest farm owners!

And idiots like W63 believe the guff they believe from the right wing propaganda to simply parrot and repeat on here and everywhere else.

When are they going to learn they are being used and manipulated and why don't they simply check the facts out for themselves?

If W63 believes that 40% of millions of pounds in tax relief of public money should keep going to the top 7% of the country's wealthiest landowners, then by all means stand up for them and defend them on here.

But I don't think he does believe that to be fair and proper and perhaps on reflection he's a bit embarrassed that he bought into at least this part of the right wings propaganda and has been played (yet again) for a mug.

Perhaps he'll begin to open his eyes a bit more in future them?

(Although I very much doubt he will!).
