the point i'm making which as usual went over your head is that if we want to get more people involved and posting and growing the site, they are hardly likely to want to join in when the existing members are all at each other throats.

I post one picture of jake the snake Roberts looking a bit camp and all hell breaks loose.

You should all stop taking this so serious. Why have lines been drawn? How can you have a serious problem with people who you've never met. It's just different opinions, which, as far as I'm aware, is the whole point of a forum.

I don't get why everyone is digging at each other. 

Breadman, Boggers, 74, Bonce, Johnny, Scott KP, Norpig and even Nat, this place is better with you all Tbh. Why don't you all just stick to giving opinions on stuff Instead of opinions on each other?

If someone tells me to fuck off and stop posting I don't give a shit. I will keep posting here because I like it here but the fact is if three regular and also good posters imo, end up leaving it won't be the same anymore. There's no point giving sluffy grief either, he's just doing his best to keep you bunch of misfits from crossing the line with each other, whilst trying to recruit new members.

Come on now chaps. You need to draw a line under this now. I know you have principles and I get that, I really do. You don't want to be the ones to backtrack and look like you've lost face but this is the internet for fuck sake.

The way I see it, if someone on here was homophobic, which, for the record, I really don't think they are, just disagree with them, tell them they're talking bollocks and move on. As long as they don't start posting homophobic hate posts, leave them to their opinions, as it is their right to have that opinion and you're right to disagree with it.

This is the best forum out there. We all know it. It's the best forum because you have all made it the best forum out there. Without the posters the forum is nothing.

This is just a forum and won't affect your life if you don't post but you know for a fact you would miss it and lurking in the background is just fucking boring.

Having a running joke about Brucie and talking non serious shite keeps the place ticking over in between the proper discussions that go on. There's nothing wrong with it. It's called having a laugh. Some people have lost their sense of humour and need to chill out a bit. 

Let's all get back to not taking this too serious shall we. And I do mean ALL of us.

 ok you are right, things tend to get a bit over heated on here, though i dread to think what it will be like on here when the season ends and we have no footy to talk about 

I have to say that I've really had a tit full this evening.

The sentiment is fine, thank you, but there are much deeper issues that need to be resolved than most of you are aware of from just reading the forum.

If we can amicably resolve these we can at long last move on, if not we will simply lurch from one crisis to another in a month or twos time.

I've been true and honurable to people's wishes up to now but what's happened tonight as released me from this obligation and I have made it clearly known that I am no longer bound by this committment I had been carrying until now.

No longer will decisions be made behind the scenes and people party to the making of these decisions freely post knowingly on the public forum things directly contrary, or misleading, to deliberately inflame the situation and making modding extremely difficult at times and causing unecessary and unwanted aggravation on the site.

Things have gone too far, we are not all here to be one persons plaything.

Things WILL have to change, or we might as well pack the site in now.

I certainly missed quite a bit of activity. The objective here, in case anyone missed it, is to have as many long-suffering Bolton fans on here as possible. We are bound to disagree on some things and it would be boring if we didn't, but there must always be an underlying respect between us. Your humour may not be mine and vice versa - we need to know when to step back. I have spent many enjoyable hours here and it would be a real shame to see the efforts of the backroom staff go down the drain over foolishness.
