I have no problem with people not liking her, you shouldn't say nice things about dead people just because they are dead. If they were arseholes when they were alive they are still arseholes in death.

However, while I can understand the venom directed at her from some quarters, she was a role model to me and I'm not going to apologise for that.

I was never a miner, why would I judge a person on one issue?

I liked the way she took no shite from the argies.

And I liked the way she used to send the SAS on shadey missions to do people in.

I was kind of looking forward to it tbh.

I remember that if you had a job times where good but everyone seem to afraid of redundancy, I dont like what she did to the Miners, The Falklands conflict did her no harm. Not a Bad age to but I think she will be shoveling coal.

Don't forget the steel industry and industry in general. If you got up at six to

As for the falklands, her son didn't fight did he?

Respect to her for standing up to the Argies and giving Britain a bit of it's pride back.

You need to go back to school, there is a difference between "minor" and "miner".
