I finished off my remaining bottles of 13 Guns today. First time I'd tried it,and I can't say I was over impressed.
Drinkable though.

bwfc71 wrote:Date night on Friday night  - so stayed in Manchester and other half met us.  started off at Dockyard for a couple of pints of Dockyards own IPA (brewed in Radcliffe) for myself and San Miguel for Kav, then went to The Lawn Club/The Club House for a pint of San Miguel each and then off to The Old Nags for a pint of Black Sheep each and then to Waterhouse for another pint of San Miguel each and then ended at Mayfield (Piccadilly station) for a pint of lager (don't know what as Kav bought it) - home early but had a couple of IPA's bought from Asda night before.
Although the Nag's Head is full of stuff on Georgie Best and a great pub on matchdays if you are a Utd fan, do you not think the pub smells a bit and it's a bit of a dive?

Not too well up on Mcr pubs and bars but never been to the Lawn Club, Dockyard (I think) or the Mayfield but Waterhouse isn't too bad.

I quite like the Sawyers Arms.

Do you never go in there?

Barby round ours today - open invite to all the family.

Sounded like a good idea when Mrs B pitched it to me on Friday night after a few shandies.

Ha, yeah......'course it was......

Back garden now looks like The West Bank on a bad day (thanks kids!), Mrs B's brothers are no longer speaking after some glib comment from the younger one about how he "was never appreciated by his parents" and was always "the least favoured child" and the dog's been sick twice because of all the sausages he blagged.

Mrs B's repaired to bed with a headache and I'm seeking solace in a bottle of 12 year old Malt.

Triffic.....

Fanta always sounds better if you say it like Ron Moody playing Fagin.

"Lovely Fanta, Oliver...drink it upsy! Good boy."

I would make some margaritas if I had some Cointreau but that's all I have and I'm not going out now. Very Happy
