I do love Old Speckled Hen and the Golden one but I do enjoy Lidl's own brand which seem nice and not too alcoholic as well.

I usually get the Ruby Rooster from there. Smile

Old Speckled Hen is very nice KP.

I'm also partial to Fursty Ferret.

Fursty Ferret is another good one, I have that on the odd occasion we go to ASDA and it's usually on a 4 for £5 which is good value.

The Badger brand do some nice ales but I'm not keen on that peachy one.

Have you ever tried that?

It tastes too exotic for me, I would probably fall in love with an orangutang in it! Very Happy

you'll not be disappointed RT, they do a whole range of lagers and IPA's and i've yet to try one i didn't like. They did a nice porter with a whiskey finish a while ago and that was excellent

Girlfriend has gone away for the week.

Been to the cinema watching Angry Birds, had KFC and bought a bottle of Black Tower for later when  my daughter is in bed.

Date night on Friday night  - so stayed in Manchester and other half met us.  started off at Dockyard for a couple of pints of Dockyards own IPA (brewed in Radcliffe) for myself and San Miguel for Kav, then went to The Lawn Club/The Club House for a pint of San Miguel each and then off to The Old Nags for a pint of Black Sheep each and then to Waterhouse for another pint of San Miguel each and then ended at Mayfield (Piccadilly station) for a pint of lager (don't know what as Kav bought it) - home early but had a couple of IPA's bought from Asda night before.
