I know I'm old and past it but I don't really get lesbianism - at least not in the way it seems to be portrayed in the media.

Ok, I understand that you can't help the feelings that you have inside you and some women are attracted to other women rather than men - but this is the bit I don't understand - why is it that one of the women always seems to dress and act just like a bloke?

If you don't go for men - then why fall for a woman who acts more like a bloke than a bloke does?

You never seem to see two feminine women together - always (at best) a feminine woman and a blokey type of woman - or at worse - two blokey type of women!

I know I'm a dinosaur and out of my depth on the subject but if you want to be with a woman then surely the last thing you would find attractive is a woman being even more of a man than a man is?

Why not just go for a bloke in the first instance then if that is the case?

Pretty much sums it up for me as well. One always has a flat top hairstyle and a couple of mandatory tattoos and t'other one can be feminine and quite pretty. I guess one assumes the role of a male in the relationship, and in most cases, do a pretty decent job apart from having a piss standing up.

Simply because they are gay.

On Isle of Man the Tynwald has never set any equality laws, like in the UK. BUt that is soon to change as the Presidenty (Speaker) has put in motion fast-track laws to equate the IoM laws to those of the England and Wales

Why don't gay and lesbian folk simply accept that certain deeply committed Christian folk are not comfortable with allowing them to swap spit and other bodily fluids under their rooftop?

If the gay and lesbian community were as tolerant as the majority of the heterosexual community there would be no need for all this so called outrage at being victimised.

Not everyone is comfortable with the thought of two men engaging in a bout of botty bashing and all the legislation in the world isn't going to change their fundamental opinion.

Much easier to move on to the next B & B where the Landlord / Landlady has a much more liberal approach provided the funds are produced.

You are forgiven for making the mistake because of your poor eyesight. Have you ever considered contact lenses?

Kira Izzard and Laura Cull (both quite butch, above) have been informed this is perfectly legal in the Isle of Man and been advised to shut up and stop buying flat shoes and dungarees.

We might not agree with it, but surely the whole point of being British is being able to refuse entry to gays, lezzers, gingers, United fans, fat people, smelly people, bald people etc?

Bloody Hell Natasha!!! Adolf Hitler had simmilar views.
