Everyone is entitled to an opinion but it's a lot easier to defend Freedman when you're not actually paying money to watch this utter crap.

Well, I have been paying to watch this utter crap for most of the season and I will be going to the Bournemouth game as well. It's too easy to blame the manager when what we should be doing is treating the cause and not the symptoms.

OC was a far superior manager to DF. OC got a team promoted, got us to a top 10 finish in the Premier and to the semi final of the fa cup playing some of the most attractive football seen by a Bolton side since the White Hot years. DF had not and never will achieve any of this.

 :wtf2: :yeahright:

JAH is right. Coyle got Burnley promoted and BWFC to an FA Cup semi-final, and in fairness there was a period when Holden was on fire when we were a joy to watch.

Under Freedman we have seen nothing but failure, and worst of all, absolute shite football.

Easy for sluffy to defend Freedman sat in his mansion down South on match day. Perhaps if he had to shell out his cash to watch this utter shite he might change his tune.

Coyle was a shite manager, but at least with Coyle in charge there was always the chance of scoring a goal or two - under Freedman our attack has never been so blunt.

There were plenty of Wanderers fans screaming for Coyle's head. As you said yourself, he was a shite manager.

Just because somebody doesn't go to a game doesn't mean that they are not entitled to an opinion. I didn't go yesterday but Wanderlust did and he reported that we didn't play badly apart from lacking a cutting edge in midfield.
How many midfielders has Dougie signed?

Can I qualify that statement RT?
Our midfield had no cutting edge in possession but they were also dire at closing down when we didn't have it.

By all means. We have been playing the same style for most of the season. We need to find room for Moritz and ditch either Spearing or Medo. I'm hoping Trotter brings something to the table as well.

He's attempting to repair a very bad situation and I think that many people don't realise how bad it really is. It's not just that the players he inherited are overpaid or underperforming - they're just not good enough for this level IMO. They may have been once, but they're not now and we're stuck with them.

Compare him with himself. What he did over last summer and fucked up since, he's good at going from promotion favourite to relegation cannon fodder. Fecked without a coach to coach the first team sitting alongside a pensioner waiting for his off. Dopey Doug was found out before fat Phil appointed him.

Why don't you answer the question for your beloved dickhead Doug, what did he do over the summer and what has he done since.

In fairness it's a pretty stupid question, we can all see what players were brought in and nobody knows what the planning etc was behind closed doors.

You clearly have an opinion on what went on so just go ahead and say it if you want.

Wolves were one of the favourites in 2012 too.

It doesn't actually mean anything apart from the amount of money thats gone on each club.

Dougie needs more time! I believe next season, once he shifts the rest of the big earners and assembles a decent 11 then we will start to progress. Play offs at the minimum next year.

What a load of bollocks.

Resorting to out-right lies to back Freedman just shows how desperate the apologistas are getting.....

It means that you were one of the favourites for promotion with the bookies.

It may not have been your personal view at the start of the season but that doesn't mean Bolton weren't one of the favourites.

You think there was planning. Who did it Baldrick ?
If you want to know my opinion read the forum. I ain't repeating myself for those foolish enough to try and justify the dynamic duo keeping their jobs.

I missed where i denied they were one of the favourites.

my point was the odds amount to very little at the end of the day.

No, the odds are complied by professional statisticians who are very well paid to assess all the information available and decide who is most likely to get promoted.

As I said before, what a load of bollocks.........

I don't think that was your point at all Hipster.

The odds for promotion (them odds are from July 2013 before money was put on) set who we see as favourites.

It may mean nothing to you or me, although I had Bolton down for a play off place.
