Chris will be ok, he'll be off to the Bolton News site in a bit to argue with some total strangers (at great length) about how shit it is that there aren't enough parking spaces for bikes at the new Bolton Interchange or something equally important involving trains and how much better life is in Holland.

With his bird.......

Sleep tight.

Up the BUM!

Nope because I don't agree with the editorialship of the Bolton nowadays.  I even met with a couple of the editors on Thursday and told them so!

A local newspaper is meant to be independent and just report the news, but the BN isn't doing that anymore and has become the mouthpiece for UKIP and allows the bullying of non-kippers by a minority of the posters.

Was never a fan of the BEN as it was when I read it many years ago,but I really miss the Saturday night paper 'The Buff'. Anyone think a football daily paper would take off here? Italy has about 3.

BB, I don't think so, if your talking about the Bolton area. Firstly, we don't have enough supporters for that, and secondly we don't have an interesting football team (at the moment)  Very Happy

Around 14 million people voted in the European Election in the UK, with approximately 31 million preferring to stay at home.
So who won the Euro Election?
Certainly not any of the political parties.
There needs to be a real debate on how to engage with the voters of this country. Apathy will only serve the extremes of the right wing.

It is certainly a sad day for the country, today!

Nigel is PM, how can it be a sad day - I've been partying since I got up.

I know you are trolling, Nat, and I am not going bite.

Suffice to say thank goodness Nigel has no power, whatsoever, with regards to power at Westminster Palace and long may that continue.  Only problem is we have lost 24, out of 73, voices with regards to the EU Parliament as UKIP say no to everything, if they turn up, even if it benefits the country and the people!!!!

Anybody with a modicum of intelligence would know that Britain leaving Europe is the equivalent of the jocks leaving the UK.
Thank fuck that a former Preston Business Woman of the Year spends her time dispatching bullshit from her bedroom on a meaningless football forum than getting involved in the running of serious matters like the NHS!!

Considering a decent proportion of the country voted UKIP I suspect you will soon be in the minority as a Labour bellend.

Did they?

Around 14 million people voted in the European Election in the UK, with approximately 31 million preferring to stay at home.

Certainly not any of the political parties.

3.92 million voted for UKIP

Thus meaning of the 14 million that voted 10,080,000 didn't vote for UKIP!!! Or out of the 45million that did/could have voted 41,080,000 didn't vote UKIP!!!

Don't come that game.

In 2010, the Tories secured 10.6m votes, so you could argue that 34m people didn't vote for them either, but we still got Cameron in charge.....
