76-4 one ball later.

Make that "all over by close of play tonight."

Call me a pessimist if you like (I am where test matches against the Aussies are concerned. Too much mental scarring from past horror shows) but I'm fully expecting the Aussies to scrape a lead of about 100 from these last 3 wickets and then bowl us out for about 93.

only 20 runs needed now and with Bell and Root in its no problem. Think we may have seen the last of Lyth for a while though

Job done.

Happy days.

Finn MOTM - Who'd have predicted that before a ball was bowled?

Can't beat smashing the Aussies. Absolutely wiped the floor with them again. I was always confident we would do it. Never doubted the lads for a minute.  Very Happy
Especially pleased for Steven Finn, I have to admit I was groaning when he was selected but he was a deserved MOTM.

I'll be honest, when it looked like they were creeping towards setting us something in the region of 150 I had my doubts.

Headingley '81 in reverse sort of thing.  Very Happy
