I left my house at 0330 to drive to Bristol airport, and arrived at 0430. Got the cases out, handed the car over to the meet and greet chap.
As he drove it away, and me and the wife started pushing the cases into the terminal, it suddenly struck me !!!
I still had my slippers on

Might not be able to reply as I forgot to bring the old style charging lead for this iPad

Brilliant. This needs to become a trend.

The problem is,the young of today look down upon the humble slipper,as a relic of a bygone age.

And yet,if some pimply pop star started wearing them,they'd be all over the high street,and we oldsters would be told to stop wearing them,because modern fashions aren't for the likes of us.

I've a good mind to go and have a rant on that facetube thing.

This is all the rage with da youth init

What a day. My 88 year old Mum fell and broke her hip today. They're going to operate tomorrow.

Took eight hours to get her X-Rayed. Might not be on again for a while.

Obviously I/we hope she has a speedy recovery and gets well soon.

Thanks for the kind thoughts everyone. They gave here gas and air in the ambulance, resulting in a raucous performance of 'Show Me The Way To Go Home'.
