VP debate was interesting this morning as we were looking at the next potential POTUS given the age and health of the two main combatants. Pence used all his political acumen to make a case for defending the indefensible and was at least respectful of the process for the most part - but he was on a sticky wicket trying to defend the indefensible and looked like he knew it.
Harris was calm and fairly ruthless as you'd expect.
Came across as if both speakers held up well and both were speaking to the converted as it's unlikely that either will have swayed any of their opponents core supporters, but even that is probably advantage Biden as Harris didn't do anything to erode the polls lead and some polls suggest she may have pulled in more of the "undecided".
Moment of the debate for me was when Pence claimed that he (as head of the Covid response effort) and Trump had done a fantastic job on protecting Americans from the pandemic and that hundreds of thousands more would have died if it wasn't for them - all this despite America having a worse death rate than most developed countries.
