Ream is not all that good but at least he looks more mobile than Mills. Have faith in Dougie.

Mills is the worst defender I've ever seen at the club. He makes Knight look like a world beater.
Does the name Gerald Cid ring any bells, fuck me Nat you have a short memory.

What sort of moron would boo a tactical change like that?

I booed, and I know what I was booing for.

Obviously you know better than me what I'm thinking.

Ricketts and Alonso were getting beaten for speed all game, bringing Butterfield on to sure up the defense was 100% necessary.

Booing your team when winning 2-1 and in the play-off positions is very odd behavior.

Still not clear if the fans booed because it was Butters who was brought on or the tactical move made. I don't have a problem with bringing on a player to shore up the defence at such a time in the game, but Butters hasn't inspired me with enough confidence to think he is the man to do it.
Bottom line is it worked.

It's hard not for me to get excited at this stage. Knowing that if we just win two more games then we're in the play-offs is unbelievable.

We're 5 wins from promotion now.

Easy.

Il be honest, Butterfield has done a good job pretending he is a professional football player.

He is a total embarresment.

Worse signing (loan or not) since Gerald Cid.

Didn't agree with the change from a tactical point of view.

Ten minutes left, one goal lead, opposition down to ten men...swapping 4-4-2 for 5-4-1 is pretty naff in my opinion.

It was just under 10 minutes.

he came on in the 87th minute - 3 minutes of normal time and over 5 minutes of "Fergie" time.

Ive no issue with it, all we care about is 3 points putting some extra cover on is simple but it was effective.

I would have preferred to see Ream come on to be fair though.

I know.

I'm just a bit baffled by people moaning about shutting up shop with 3 minutes to go.

smacks a bit of finding something, anything to moan about.

Shut up you woman.

If there's one way to offer a 10 man side a way back into a game at the death, it's defending deep, inviting pressure in the final third.

You've got a lot to say for yourself for somebody that never sees the matches.

This is true, but it can go both ways. Backing the defence to see out 10 minutes against 10 men isn't a bad move as such.

Had Coyle put on a more defensive minded player than Lee at home to West Brom at the end of last season we may have held out for a win
