Jeremy Clarkson

I can't decide whether I can't stand him or I actually quite like him.

Sometimes, he comes out with some funny stuff and talks sense (H&S culture, stupid Americans, etc) but equally, he often comes across as a bigoted, Tory twat who's up his own arse and needs a good slap.

I'm confused.

Anybody else?

Slap the smug twat for me whilst you're at it. He's never funny - he just likes to ride the popular culture bandwagon by having a go at things that are society's jokes - not his.
I live for the day that the smug bastard is abducted and tortured by an angry mob of traffic wardens, foreigners, accountants, H&S advisors, European legislators, vegans and Skoda drivers.

I'm not into cars at all, but I enjoy Top Gear because of the banter between the hosts. Clarkson is a funny guy who says what he believes - in many ways he is my hero.

i think he tends to put on the over the top persona when he's on top gear or similar programmes but i did see him on a programme talking about his love of music and his record collection and he came over completely different and was witty and interesting which made me change my opinion of him

never heard of him.

Yes but nothing special Scott been in Geneva and Rome, but I have a really big one in early May starting in London a female who's a bit of a firework.

Again though, I'm a bit conflicted.

He says he finds the word abhorrent and he would never use it.......but then he did.

However, it wasn't in the same context as Big Ron used it, you have to listen really, really hard to catch it on the audio and it was never broadcast.
