For me Top Gear died a long time ago, Clarkson believed his own hype a little too much and the scripted scenarios and jokes got old.
The real blessing here is Richard Hammond not being on anymore (hopefully), he's incredibly annoying.

From the noises Hammond & May are making already it sounds like they're not stopping either.
