When questioned about the plan, Hurst said earlier that the plan is (and I'm trying to remember his exact phrasing so forgive me if it's slightly off because I went dizzy as my jaw smacked against my keyboard when he came out with it but the gist is correct):
Await a response to their letter to ED asking to be made preferred bidders.
Look at the books once this is granted.
Spend "a few days" formulating a business plan. (As you do.....)
Present it to the 30 or so local businesses who have expressed an interest in "helping in some way" (not pledged any funding mind, merely expressed an interest in potentially helping in some way).
Secure said funding.
Submit it as a formal bid to ED for approval.
Take ownership of Bolton Wanderers Football & Athletic Club.
And all before the club's back up in front of the Beak in a couple of weeks.
It's chaos and if it wasn't so potentially dangerous for the future of our football club, it might actually be funny.
