Final visit to the dentist on Friday to get my crown sorted. Can't wait to get to Piggy In The Middle to stock up on Carrs pasties.

A friend of mine eats his chocolate biscuits with the chocolate side down. For some reason this pisses me off. Am I being petty?

Yes, although a bit strange. What’s the reason he does this?

Says he's always done it. Even does it with Jammy Dodgers. According to his brother, he sits on the toilet facing the cistern, so he's clearly contrary.BoltonTillIDie wrote:Yes, although a bit strange. What’s the reason he does this?

Apparently he's got a thing about toilet posture.BoltonTillIDie wrote:Seems a bit backwards
Don't understand it. Get on, get off, and blame the dog for the smell.

He's from Pakistan. Got some very odd habits, but is a nice bloke for all that. Don't mind the toilet thing, but the biscuits rile me.

Just had a call from the cabbie who took me to Walkden, asking if I wanted my wallet back! I'd left it on the back seat.

No, I'm good to go. Just waiting for cabbie to come with my wallet. Poor bloke lives in Burnley, but is driving to Warrington before heading home. Very good of him, and I'll certainly be treating him to a nice tip.karlypants wrote:So is it soup with a straw this evening then?

My back has been playing up this week, and the only thing that cures it is lying flat on a hard surface.
So I'm back on the floor with a sleeping bag for a few days, snug as a bug in a rug.
I'm sleeping in my little hideaway, a room known to the family as Bolton Central, surrounded by my Bolton heroes.
The last face I see as I drift into slumber is Alan Gowling.

Find another one of him and one of Mark Fish, put them all together and then you can dream about Fish and chips!

I prefer Carrs pasties. Good job it isn't Peter Beardsley.Sluffy wrote:boltonbonce wrote:My back has been playing up this week, and the only thing that cures it is lying flat on a hard surface.
