The Tories remind me of that thing I put in the pedal bin. Is it that that's starting to smell? Have I stood in something? Can't see anything on my boots. But that smell. Where is it coming from?
Can anyone else smell it? No?
Probably all in my head. Maybe some air freshener would help.
Still there.

Hahaha!

Are you getting frustrated that I've been ignoring all your on going attempts to troll me for a reaction like this recent attempt?

https://boltonnuts.forumotion.co.uk/t22757-the-site#428417

If you really are a genuine 'well being' councillor of ten years standing (as you claim to be!) then why have you got a perpetual bee in your bonnet over me for the last year or three?

I believe you to be a real 'well being' councillor as much as I claim to be the Shah of Persia!

And I'm definitely not the Shah of anything!

So stop playing your games and let the site continue to heal.

It's as easy as that.

And what everybody apart from yourself (and possibly Hip Priest?) wants.

Have a nice day.

No smell ever coming from the Labour Party then?

I think you find it does - it's just that they aren't in the spotlight right now.

Politics is simply about taking and holding power - and you know what they say about power, don't you...

They are all as bad as each other if truth be told.

And I'm talking about the world over, not just here.

Some are better than others but if Jesus asked them if those without sin to cast the first stone, then there wouldn't be many stones flying about!

With Labour, you can see where the smell is coming from. Although it doesn't really help.

Sluffy you talk about letting the site continue to heal but almost every poster on here knows that the one person preventing it from healing is yourself.

Please believe me, nobody on here is playing games with you, least of all Okocha or myself.
Nobody is trying to wind you up, quite the opposite if anything, because you just come down like a ton of bricks on anyone that has a different point of view from yours.

Almost every poster on here has at one time or another tried to make you aware of this. None have succeeded and quite a few posters have left the site as a result. I realise that you may feel people are having a go at you but if you keep launching into someone with put downs and personal insults they will eventually have a go back.

As you say, forums are for lively discussion, but nobody appreciates being insulted, goaded or told how to think.

Ha ha very funny!

Look back over your last six or seven posts - every one of them is either insulting me, goading me or telling me how to think!!!

Mate, it really doesn't bother me.

I reckon that most people have slowly got to see what has been going on now - clearly you haven't - but I believe the tide has now turned and completely unsolicited and unnecessary posts like the one I linked to above from the okocha account - to purposely rake up the past - even when Karly a completely independent mod had previously told them to stop doing so, shows what their aim really is - which is to deliberately and specifically seek some sort of a reaction from me and stir all the shit up yet again!

I think it is telling that not one single person reacted to that post hence the following one earlier today (yesterday now), trying desperately to get a bite from me!

I'm not surprised either that you are the only one who has responded even though the post has been up all day and plenty of people have seen and read it.

Everybody is sick to death of the deliberately contrived arguments/trolling that has been going on, on here - it really is time to move on.

As for losing posters off here, the only genuine one to go was Wanderlust and I requested him six times to stop what he was doing before I showed him the door - it really would never have stopped if I hadn't.

We are slowly beginning to heal now, people have willing and eagerly chipped in over £50 to make the site look better for everyone - people are beginning to look forward again and no longer dread coming on here - and that is because the trolling had finally stopped.

I know my words will probably fall on your deaf ears and you can only see things the one way - with me being the problem - but give it a go pretend if you like that I'm not the baddie you believe me to be!

What have you got to lose if you did we could all gain by finally putting an end to the shit that has been going on for so long and finally get back to a more friendlier and happier forum for everyone?

Go on - give it a go eh?

Thank you, HP.

I am happy to let the site heal and have tried to do so by declining to read any of Sluffy's posts which are transparently aggressive and now sneering towards me and others who politely point out his foibles.

He has basically called me a liar (about my work).  I feel I should reply. His insults and accusations have gone too far.

I worked for many years as Head of English and Head of Year at a delightful private school. I eventually retired slightly early (when Gove wrecked the English syllabus!) to concentrate on my other postgraduate qualifications as a Stress Management consultant, using autogenic training as the principal tool to help groups in weekly adult education classes and individuals with more complex issues in my private practice.

I love sport, have played at a reasonably high level, and enjoy reading news and views about BWFC on Nuts. Sadly, I was accused of being "fake" almost from day one, which is why I sympathise with Hip Priest and Xmiles who have resented similar treatment. Efforts to reason with the moderation of the site have not been met with positive response, but I have swallowed any ill-feelings (until provoked!) and happily continued to use the site.

Please excuse me for having used my perception of some Nuts posters as the basis for interesting characters in the novel I'm writing.
I have a wife, children and lots of friends around the country who also support the Whites, and so will continue to devote time to Nuts.

Thanks to everyone who has made membership interesting, fun and thought-provoking.

Right you've had your say, I'm sure everyone believes every word of it, it is after all on the internet so it must be true...

Fwiw this is what Karly said directly to you FOUR MONTHS AGO...

karlypants wrote:I can’t believe we are going through all this bloody shit again.

This is getting to be trolling in all fairness.

If you were serious about this issue then why did you not PM Sluffy directly? Is it because you wanted to create all this drama to amuse yourself?

You really need to pack it in!

https://boltonnuts.forumotion.co.uk/t20957p750-vince-watch#423703

This is you 'promising' never to mention it again...

okocha wrote:Agreed, Sluffy.  Truce on all sides to be never mentioned again! Virtually, shake on this promise!

https://boltonnuts.forumotion.co.uk/t20957p750-vince-watch#423707

Yet here you are again deliberately attempting to stir up all the shit once more just TWO DAYS AGO...

okocha wrote:Apologies for going over old ground here, but Xmiles was an excellent, regular contributor to the site.....intelligent, fair-minded, interesting, principled.... yet he was wrongly accused of being a "fake poster" which infuriated him to the point where he gave up arguing that the accusation was completely unfounded and untrue....... and, in any case, it should not have mattered either way!

Losing his input was completely unnecessary but, quite understandably for someone so principled, he felt hounded and harassed to the point where he had no option but to resign.

Other good Nuts members have also left this year, all while our chief mod goes out of his way to deign to educate us at length and Tenbob sneers at us "twerps".....

https://boltonnuts.forumotion.co.uk/t22757-the-site#428417

Whilst I'm at it I might as well throw this in too!

Here is you telling us about Autogenic Training...

okocha wrote:Sluffy does mention one useful thing.....exercise.

Autogenic Training delivered professionally will also help your body and mental state fight stress, to target the specific problem. (It does not include massage, and definitely not deep breathing which should be avoided.)

If you do go down this route. Norpig, make sure your practitioner is fully qualified and not some amateur psychologist.

https://boltonnuts.forumotion.co.uk/t21936p150-new-year-new-norpig#423824

...and you telling us telling us you are a fully qualified and successful practioner...

okocha wrote:No digs intended, Sluffy.  As a fully qualified and successful practitioner for over 20 years, I was simply trying to help Norpig remotely, and acknowledged that your idea of exercise was a good one, as are many of KP's suggestions, like finding time for walking and appreciating nature.

I was pointing out that deep breathing is not recommended. Massage was not mentioned by me and the interpretation of positive thought processes as "happy thoughts" is misguided.

What is important is being able to alleviate the problems caused by external causes of stress through relaxation techniques so that the immune system can function properly. Body and mind are inter-dependent.

If confident that approaching a boss or other member of staff will get a sympathetic response, then of course that would be beneficial.

https://boltonnuts.forumotion.co.uk/t21936p180-new-year-new-norpig#423836

...you even tell us you have a post grad degree in your post today - very impressive...

okocha wrote:...I eventually retired slightly early (when Gove wrecked the English syllabus!) to concentrate on my other postgraduate qualifications as a Stress Management consultant, using autogenic training as the principal tool to help groups in weekly adult education classes and individuals with more complex issues in my private practice.

...so with all these 'twenty years' of experience, being so highly qualified with your post grad degree and being such a 'successful practitioner' helping groups and individuals with more 'complex issues' as you state, why have you any issues with me or anyone else for that matter?

I'm just a completely random poster off the internet?

There is far, far worse people than me out there.  I really am just a big docile, old pussycat compared to most who vent their spleens on social media!

You have all these years of skills, knowledge, experience and success (or so you claim) but you can't seem to use them to keep thinking happy thoughts and take a few deep breaths or whatever it is your years of training and experience tells you to do in respect to little old me - and lets face it, I'm just words on the ether just like billions of others around the world who post on social media!

Something does fit right here does it?

If you really are what you claim to be then you should know full well how to deal with me and reacting to me by posting up your little pops at me and stirring up others, certainly isn't it - is it?

I believe you to be a troll playing games, if others believe you to be what you claim to be that's up to them but I point out that you've 'promised' before to stop all this and you haven't and you claim to have all these skills yet you even say this in your post above...

okocha wrote:"...I have swallowed any ill-feelings (until provoked!)..."

...twenty years being a successful practitioner dealing with folk with 'complex' issues and you still get 'provoked' by something said on the internet by someone you don't even know from Adam and you harbour 'ill-feelings from that'????

Yeah right...very skilled and professional of you...

It has got to stop once and for all.

We are not going back to how the site has been - I trust that is clear and understood by all now.

Firstly, please feel free to ban me, I really don't give a shiny one anymore.
That last post of yours to Okocha is absolutely disgraceful.
The other admin people on this site should at the very minimum be issuing you with a warning if not a ban.
You say we are not going back to how the site has been. Over the course of this single thread alone SIX different posters have had cause to speak to you regarding the aggressive and sneering way you have responded to them. (Glos, Troy, Okocha, Myself, Wander and even LPP told you your continuous arguing would cause the site to lose posters.
If you start speaking to people in a civil way they will respond in kind and you will find that people no longer take random pops at you (myself included I know). Genuine peace will break out and the site will definitely prosper.
Why not give it a try.
