A big thanks to Charlie Kairoli for helping to pay my wages for last month, also one for the big bro RT.
Work would commence on this month's report as soon as possible

Great news Bro Dar. I have a meeting in half an hour in The Griffin Pub with your latest sponsor. I will let you know more once I have finalised all the minor details like wages etc etc.

I have just got back from the Griffin Hostelry where I met with our March sponsor, Albert O'Balsam. On meeting with him I discovered that there is no such thing as a free lunch so I had to make do with a bowl of greasy olives.

Mr O'Balsam was born in Hall i' the' Wood, Bolton in 1953 and after leaving school he went working down the pit at Bickershaw Colliery where he made enough money to open his first Tonsorial Parlour on Bradshawgate in 1956. In 2006 he was awarded the prestigious Vidal Sassoon trophy for services to the Tonsorial industry. Since then he has opened several more parlours throughout the north west and he divides his time between running the O'Balsam empire and following Wanderers.

Mr O'Balsam is prepared to sponsor our scout for 5 tantalising reports.

Mr O'Balsam has just sent me an e-mail to say that he is not too happy about the photo I posted of him because he isn't keen on the bow tie. He has sent me a new picture and asked me to submit it instead.

Brother Dar, Don't forget that the offer of a free full English breakfast is always available to you at the Greasy Spoon Cafe should you ever find yourself in Johnson Fold. I can also recommend the Stottie cake and faggots.

Well, the last time I spoke to him he never mentioned anything about going to Nigeria. He did say that he was planning to go and book a place at Overdale in the near future but that was all he said.

Welcome to my hall namely zik hall. Just like
every Saturday boys do troop out to play football on the designated play pitch
of the hall. Today the boys u see are a fraction of the new boys admitted into
the school and those that are new. The team in a light blue are the crop of
guys who are already use to the Hall, and the other set of boys are played to
evaluate if any of them would be useful for the hall’s footballing force in the near future. I got myself a sit as usual and watched
the boys as they played together for a while.

After few minutes of watching both teams, i
had two players who played to my satisfaction; one is Kunle who played on the
far flank for the team in light blue. Though he was looking young and unbalanced
with the ball at times, but he showed good determination when moving with it
and also was his natural technique. The second player was Fashola, playing as a
full back but coming out once in a while. He did well at the back, plus his
ability to send out passes to his teammates was superb. Spot Fashola in the brown
kit as he played from the back to the front.

I was also opportuned to
go to see another hall evaluate their new boys, this was in a hall nearby, so
getting their in time wasn’t really a big issue. The thing with these halls is
that they want to prevent a situation whereby they would leave out a very
talented player and later find out he is playing for another team when its
about time for the inter hall competitions, so they do their bests to know
their good players and develop them for later purpose. The new boys were quick to get use to the hall pitch, and as the arena is
known for fast paced and energy burning game, they blended well into the game. There
wasn’t much to pick out of the new boys, except their deffender Akeem who was
really managing things at the back, he made it so easy for the rest of the boys
to keep piling up the pressure on the other side of the team cus he was invincible
at the back. As for the senior team playing with them, they weren’t so
impressive, and you can see from the video as they conceded a cheap goal. Akeem
at the right side of the pitch helping is team.

I took my next scouting operation
back to the school pitch on a cool evening to check on different groups of footballers
playing that evening. Luckily for me, i met a very familiar group of players,
one with number of players that had previously featured on my reports. These
are the likes of Sam Dollar, Pussy Comb and Udor Sam. My focuss was more on Sam Dollar and
Puddy, as they both played for a
different team. Sam dollar known for his
agressive tackles and rigid displays in midfield was up to his game as usual,
and he made things difficult for his opponents. Puddy played well too, showing
some deadly movement when helping with the attack, although he wasnt that
outstanding , but he was okay all round. Sam dollar is d guy in a dark top with
a red short while puddy appears with a white top, and did dribble his opponent
before trying to pass the ball out to his team mates.

Saturday morning at the
school’s sport complex, i met with the
Team for the department of Botany, they were there to have a training
session in view of playing a friendly match with the boys from zoology. This match unfortunately would take
place at a time when i’ll be busy, so covering the match was not a possibility.
However, i met with the coach of the botany team, and he told me they were
planning for their 3rd friendly match since the school resumed. I also asked if
there would be another match and perhaps i would be opportuned to show up and
watch them. He said he wasn’t so sure, but we exchanged numbers as he is to
call me if anything is gonna change.

I stood back to watch his
boys play, they were fantastic and interesting to watch from both sides of the
pitch. A particularly impressive player was their Top striker Patrick Igalo who
was tall and played with enough stamina to knock off the ball from his
opponents deffenders. He is a 3oo level student, and i’ll definitely be keeping
my tabs on this guy.

Eyitayo and kunle pulled
off an interesting display today at the tedder hall pitch. Both of this players
were on the same side, the confidence they showed when handling the ball was
something to be glad about. They aided each other like they were both upfront a
football team, though here we had 4 men aside. You just have to watch both of
them play together. From the left to the right is their team and u’ll spot
eyitayo in a dark top and short and a white footwear, while Kunle was in an AC Millan.

Reebok Trotter wrote:Some decent stuff there Bro Dar. Bola, Sola and Toheeb sound like a tasty trio. I called into Ashfordly Police station this morning and spoke to Sgt Craddock but he told me that the search for Shandy had gone flat.

I am having a business lunch with Bolton Chamber of Commerce at the Rocket in Breightmet later today and hopefully I will be able to secure a new sponsor before teatime.

Don't expect any sponsorship from Mr shandy. It's been on the news that he was arrested in Manchester and is helping the police with their enquiries.
