Good afternoon Brother Dar, I have just got back from holiday in Liberia, where I stayed at the Monrovia Hilton. I have telephoned the home of Mr Balsam and I spoke to his butler, Mr Parker, who informed me that Mr Balsam is currently on a skiing holiday in Kitzbuhel in the Austrian Alps. He is due home on Friday 19th April and I will make sure he is made aware of your latest efforts on the scouting front as soon as he returns.

Should i proceeed with Aprils work or alt ???
I was privileged to coach my department team due to the little reputation i've gained in scouting and judging players. It was a one day knock out tournament and i was able to see my team through to semifinals. it seemed all good untill i felt too excited nd gambled on using a new goalie, this cost the team and we were knocked out in penalty shoot outs.

I have a meeting later today with the Licensed Victuallers Association so I am hopeful of getting you a sponsor for April. I'll let you know how the meeting went.

Good news Bro Dar, Mr O'Balsam has phoned me from Klosters where he is staying with Prince Albert. He wanted to know when your reports were due and I told him you had already submitted them. He promised to slalom down to the local post office in Gstaad to sort you out with a Moneygram. Failing that, he will jump on a Rickshaw to Salzburg where they have a 24 hour Western Union office.

Expect payment first thing in the morning. I am also close to finalising a sponsor for April. I have a meeting in the Starkie Arms this evening just to dot the I's and cross the T's.

Dib Dib.

Special thanks to Albert Baslam for stepping up this month to pay my wages, though it came late, i'm still ever grateful for the admirable efforts by RT in collaboration with Albert Baslam.

This is to 'MO' it may concern,
You might probably think you are doing me a favor by saying all those stuffs u say, writting off RT and the old sponsors. This is just to let you know i've always got paid in my previous report submissions and dont understand your motives for still going out to spread rumors about the whole deal not being realistic.

Brother Dar, I have some good news on the sponsorship front. My meeting with the LVA was a partial success. I was introduced to local Bolton businessman, Samuel Crompton and his wife, Jenny. I told them about your passion for Wanderers and they told me to have a word with a fellow Bolton businessman called Morris Piper who runs " Pipers Peepers " Opticians on Mawdsley Street in Bolton. They told me that he was a keen Wanderer and would most probably agree to sponsor you.

I called into his shop, cap in hand, and after filling him in, he agreed to sponsor you for four tantalising reports for April. Mr Piper told me that he is a former president of the BPC and that he was also awarded a QPM. He has a private box in the West Stand at the Reebok where he can keep an eye on the game and also follow the outrageous behaviour of the away fans at the same time.

He has told me to tell you that you are good to go.

Report 1 April

My first scouting
task in april took me back to tedder hall of fame, where i was opportuned to
watch the boys play as usuall on every weekends. It was the normal 5 aside
knock out matches popular amongst the boys of the school. I watched like 3
different sets play together and get knocked out untill it was the last set
where i saw a well talented player named Akeem. Akeem was playing at the back
of his team, serving as the stopper/deffender. His wonderful skills in picking
out his team-mates was a joy to watch, the only weakness i saw in him was in
getting is shorts at the target which isn’t too important if he is to remain
deffensive. Akeem is a 200 level student of the Agriculture department and when
i told him about Bolton, he was excited by the prospect of moving out of the
country, but later stated that he doesnt feel it would be wise to make it an
immediate decision.

Report 2 April

I was at the
training session of the faculty of education, they were preparing for some
friendly match against 2 teams. I was there early, so i watch all the fitness
training too. The main concern here was the little match fit train ing they did
by piking 6 aside. I must say that this team showed something called teamwork
when playing. It was a bit difficult to point out which player was better of
all the rest. It was a good game which ended with both being unable to score a
goal. Deffensively, both sides were good. However i was able to spot yakubu,
who played upfront for one of the sides, he didnt get a goal as earlier stated
but made quite number of attempts.

Report 3

Abig day it was
for the faculty of education, as they played the faculty of law in a thrilling
friendly match. Prior to this match, i collected the details of when and where
the boys would be playing the last time i was in training with them. Although i
didnt arrive at the pitch early, i only had to 25 mins of the first half. Just like
i mentioned in my immediate past report, the education boys came out very
impressive, and made sure they weren’t bullied by the Law students who didnt
know what they were actually facing. It was a nice game with Education coming
out the winner with a lone goal. Yakubu which i picked to be interesting in my
last report, came on as a substitute in the last 15 minutes. I guessed it was
for footballing reasons. He made a few runs before the game came to an end. Apart
from that, there was not really an individual to pick out as outstanding as i
would have wished to see.

Report 4 April

Welcome to the
Independence Hall, the home of agressive, fast, but impressive football. I was
there for few mins of my life on a sunny Saturday and watched as the boys do
the usuall. Oh no, he got me tripping for his atyles and movement with the
ball. This was no other person rather than olawale Rashid. Young, vibrant and
sharp with his movements. A student from the department of philosophy. He played
here at the wings and i’ll advice u to just keep your eyes glued to the guy in
the blue jersey, yellow cape but white shot, playing from left to right.

Brother Dar, thank you for your latest contributions. I have given Mr Piper the heads up and he is happy to shell out the readies. He is querying reports 1 and 2? More tuneful and melodic than sporting action is how he described them. He also agrees that it might be best if Akeem stays put for the time being. He also asked if Yakubu is the geezer who used to play for Everton? If so, he has already been registered as a Pro with UEFA.

Expect full payment tomorrows as the banks and post offices are closed in Blighty today.

Brother Dar is a half decent rapper. He goes by the name of Swagger D and going off his Ayo freestyle I think he might be sponsored by Coca Cola.
