Whatever it is I don't think the American doctors are pulling out all the stops. Michael has medical insurance but because he is classed as clinically obese they have been charging him for a King size bed. The impetigo has spread to to his nether regions and he is currently sporting a purple trouser snake.

That's scandalous!
Poor Michael.
We should make a record and send him the proceeds, a la Band Aid.
I'm not bad at writing lyrics but has anyone got a rhyme for "Just because I'm morbidly obese, I still deserve adequate primary medical care" because frankly, I'm struggling to get the chorus to scan in a catchy way.....?

Think even Elton John would struggle, with that.

Brother Dar seems to have gone missing! I haven't heard from him since the 21st January when he was heading out on a scouting mission to the north of the country. Michael has paid him for his efforts last month but without confirmation from Dar he is unable to file his tax return.
I was hoping for some nuggets this month especially with the transfer window being open but it's looking more and more like a forlorn hope.
I bumped into Winifred Kettle in Oxfam and she kindly gave me the name of a retired Bolton businessman who is currently on holiday in Thailand and I will be tapping him up for sponsorship once we get confirmation that Brother Dar is safe and well.

Hello Guys!
sorry for taking so long to come and leave a mark here, I haven't actually been on my best form since the last time I checked on here. my project supervisor has been bothering me with a lot of movement tasks which involves places with poor network coverage. I tried sending RT messages weeks ago, but I'm just finding out it never got to him.
Just to clear the air, I would like you all to know that Micheal Bolton has paid for my December reports, for which I'm very grateful. efforts are also ongoing to bring in 6reports for the month of february. i'm back now and steady again.
thanks RT for beleiving in me.

It's good to hear from you again Brother Dar. I thought you may have been kidnapped by Somalian pirates. I have passed on the good news to Michael.
I have a meeting this evening in the Griffin Pub on Great Moor Street with your latest potential sponsor. If all goes well I will post up his CV later.

Good news on the sponsorship front. I have just got back from a meeting in the Griffin Hostelry with retired Bolton builder, Lance Boyle. For many years Lance ran his own company, BBC ( Boyle Basement Conversions ) from his office on Thicketford Road. A qualified carpenter and master builder, Lance specialised in basement and cellar conversions up until his retirement in 2008. Since then, he has divided his time between sight seeing trips to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam and working on a voluntary basis as a counsellor at the Women's Refuge on Shifnal Street.
Lance has just got back from another holiday in Thailand and he is happy to sponsor Brother Dar for six tantalising reports for the month of February.

Report 1
Back to the school premises, where enough of the school boys are back to continue their school life after the long break. At this particular time, various departments were preparing for different competitions in the school. There is the SU-League, The inter-Departmental Tournaments and the In hall tournaments. Today, I was fortunate to be watching a match between the department of History and Physics, it was a match packed with load of fun, as both teams had less players who played terribly. Towards the beginning of the second half, the referee awarded a red card to a player in the physics team, and this exposed them to a lot of attack as this man was a defender. However, I was later captivated by the saves made by their goalkeeper, He was a beast, and stopped his opponents from getting the ball into his net in numerous times. His name is Qudus Raji Kunle

A dusty afternoon it was, but it didn’t stop Yussuf Dawod from playing the best of his game. They were playing the group stages of their interdepartmental tournament. Having it as their first match, the players were a little bit rusty, but this didn’t apply to Dawod who was always clearing his path with various dribbling skills. He later provided the assist for the only goal in the match. Luckily for me, the Coach of his team (Vetinary Dept) was my friend, so I had enough time to ask about Dawod from him. He told me he has been the best player discovered in their team so far at the present and he hopes to keep using him as his ballistic missile when playing against others. Check out Dawod in a red Top with Blue shorts skinning the opposition .

Report 3
Back to the Faculty of Technology for simple football this time, the Faculty tournament had just started, and I was there in time to watch the first match between Petroleum and Civil boys. Unlike other matches I’ve watched this year, the match started brightly and took the gaze of every fan watching as this two teams plotted moves to bring down each other. The game went from tight to tighter in the second half, with defenders at both ends doing their bit to ensure nothing goes through. One I could really pick out was Femi Odesh, tall and balanced at the back. He was very good in the air, and his ability to use is head was really helping his team. He also did well when he went to tackle his opponents.

Now back to the faculty of science, where the department of statistics have progressed to the 2nd round, they are now to play archaeology. The match started with Stat team pulling out the best of moves, and in about 15mins into the match, they were able to pop a goal into the net. This can be attributed to the great skills and composure shown from their Top striker Tijani Taiwo. He is a very young lad, still in his second year. The main ability he used to trouble his opponents was his speed. Whenever he was on a run with the ball, the defenders struggle to close him down. Later in the second half, his team was awarded a penalty kick thanks to him as he was brought down inside the penalty area. The match later ended 3-0 with Tijani scoring 2 out of it.

Report 5
I was present in the match between two floors in the ongoing inter-Floor competition which took place in the School Halls, they were already playing before I got there and I must have missed over 20mins. After watching for a while, the first half ended, so I started asking peeps around about what was going on. The score was 2-1 and one of the teams was leading, just a guy scored the two goals for them, and the one they conceded was from a free kick awarded for a hard tackle on a player. The two goals scorer was named Folabi. I watched and paid attention to is movements and decisions when the second half started, he was almost right with everything and appeared to be the wish of every midfielder. He knows what to do with the ball whenever he gets it and as a reward for his efforts, he scored another goal before the match ended.

Report 6
The final match for the game between Statistics and Physics Department, this match was to end their Faculty Tournament. Many were gathered here to watch this two exciting teams play, my own focus was the Top goalkeeper I spotted earlier in my report and Tijani who was the head of the strike force in the Statistic Team. Both were in opposing teams and as the match started, they both put in their efforts in a great manner to help their team excel. Tijani as usual, made attacking moves and sent a lot of shots towards goal with Qudus stopping a whole lot of shots and also co-ordinating his defense line to help reduce the threat. This interesting bit went on to the extent of extra time and then penalties, where Qudus showed how good he was on the post and saved 2wice, with Tijani scoring his own kick too. The Physics department later won with 6-5.

Brother Dar, Thank you for your recent contribution. A slight setback on the sponsorship front has developed. Apparently, Lance was doing a ' foreigner ' cellar conversion in Bromley Cross, with disastrous consequences. He was fitting a catnic lintel to a mates house when the RSJ holding up the kitchen floor collapsed. The two Thai girls helping out down below managed to flee the scene but Lance ended up with a ruptured pelvis and a fractured pancreas.
He is currently in Emergency Ward 10 at Bolton Royal Hospital and I have arranged for the agent to visit him and get the payment for your reports as soon as Doctor Kildare gives him the all clear.

I am pleased to report some good news on the sponsorship front. Mr Boyle was placed on a strict diet of boiled eggs chopped up in a cup and his condition has improved significantly.
He has discharged his fiscal obligation to Brother Dar and I am currently in the process of arranging a new sponsor.

Excellent news Brother Dar. I have a meeting at St Lukes tomorrow when I hope to tie up another sponsorship deal.
Agent Russell from Russell and Russell has been given a sizeable retainer to ensure your payments are carried out in a tidy fashion.
I am looking forward to your ready and wild reports.
On the political front, I keep hearing of problems in your country caused by that pesky Procul Harum crew. Is Sambo still counting on Goodluck to quell the rebellion?

Thanks for your support. I will bear Mr Guzzanda in mind for the future. I have just managed to secure a sponsor for April so I will put Guzza on the back burner.
